I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that it will be out before Christmas. I’ve just done the formatting check and there are a number of things to correct, not least one of the limericks being there no less than 17 times! It’s one I like, but it’s not THAT good that it needs to be repeated over and over.
Most of the poems are rhyming poems and those that don’t rhyme have rhythm.

Maria and Tom have bought an antique table for the old cottage they have bought. When they hear strange noises in the night that sound like crying, they worry their house is haunted, but the sounds seem to come from the table.
They set about trying to find what is causing the disturbances. The answer is stranger than either of them had thought.

Oooo, I like that design. Simple, elegant and very effective! I always get complicated ideas for covers. Kudos on this one because not only is it attractive but inviting. Congratulations and good luck for the success of your poetry book.

Thanks. They say poetry books don’t do well, but when I post poetry on my website it always gets amongst the most views.
I wonder if it’s because people don’t get, understand or like the more modern poetry? Mine is much more traditional.

For me, I need to see interesting turns of phrasing, memorable imagery, clever ideas/observations about life and living, uses of symbolism, and some thought or POV about life that is fresh. Yours satisfied most of those expectations.
