My mother told me of my reaction to seeing a Christmas tree at my Grandmother’s house. Here is a little poem about it. Of course, I don’t remember it!

A little girl, not yet quite three
Saw her very first Christmas tree.
The shining baubles, tinsel around
The branches, from the top right to the ground.
Her eyes did gleam, emotions fizz.
She said, in wonder, “What it is?”

Thank you. I’m glad you liked it.
I had a good Christmas, thank you. I hope you did, too. Mine only finished on Sunday as my son and his girlfriend had this awful cold that’s going around. Of course, they didn’t get it at the same time, but consecutively!
And a very Happy New Year to you and yours as well.

Ah – there’s a lot of it about (I speak from first-hand experience).

Oh dear. I’ve escaped it up to now. I believe it’s really nasty.

Depends on what you mean. I haven’t time to spend ages on Social Media, chatting to people, but I will always reply to comments.
And my name’s Vivienne.
