I don’t usually use WordPress as a means of asking a question, but I’ve just realised I don’t have a reblog button on my site.
I’ve made sure that the reblog button is checked on the setup page, but it’s still not there, and I suspect, never has been.
The forums are no help. The only ones that talk about it are people whose wordpress account is hosted by someone else. (Why would you do that?) WordPress does not add a reblog button for those, but my account is not hosted by someone else.
I can’t find anywhere on the forums to ask a question either, and you cannot contact anyone from WordPress directly. That is bad!
Does anyone out there know why I’ve not got this button even though the tick box is checked, and how I can get one?

Thanks for following my blog, Miriam. As to the question of the reblog button, it appears it doesn’t show on your own blog. I suppose that’s reasonable. Where are you going to reblog it to?

I thought that was a question you ask. Perhaps I misunderstood. I don;t seem to have that problem lately. I did have it log time ago but I’m fine for now that you!

Yes, it was a question, but several people answered it to say it doesn’t show on your own blog because you can’t reblog your own post.

I reblogged my earlier posts to current dates a few times. Do you see the reblog button now?

You know what’s interesting is if I look at my post via a comment then I do see my reblog button but when I look at my site from the dashboard I don’t see the reblog button. But again, you do have a reblog button. Try clicking on your post from this comment and see if you can see it then. 🙂

You have a reblog button, it’s just not showing to you because you would not reblog your own post. I just checked mine and my reblog button isn’t showing to me. I’m totally in love with your header btw. Go look at my post and you will see a reblog button, but I don’t. So you’re all set!! 🙂

You have a reblog button Viv – I can see it (and I believe I’ve even reblogged one of your posts before. It’s under all the share this buttons next to the like.
I think maybe you can’t see it, because you don’t have another blog on WordPress to reblog to. I have two blogs (one for my writing and one for my puzzles) so i sometimes reblog my own posts onto my other blog. Does that make sense?
