I am Earth
I am your mother.
I gave you birth.

For your greed
You plunder my wealth
And weaken me.

You care not
For my other offspring
You let them die.

Seas and oceans
You are destroying
With all your waste.

They will die
No life will be left
In their depths.

Unlike you
I think of the future
For each child.

All the life
That lives on my skin
Is in danger.

Think of this.
You are a parasite
That kills its host.

You will die
From wars and heat.
I won’t cry.

I WILL START AGAIN.
